The Service
ShopMCP is a Shopify application that connects your Shopify store to Claude AI via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The service allows you to manage theme files, create pages, import products, and perform other store operations through Claude's interface.
The service is provided on a subscription basis through the Shopify App Store. Billing, trials, and cancellations are managed through Shopify's standard billing system.
Your Responsibilities
By using ShopMCP you agree to:
- Use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with Shopify's terms of service
- Keep your account credentials and MCP secret key confidential
- Take responsibility for all changes made to your Shopify store through the service
- Maintain a backup copy of your theme before making significant edits
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell any part of the service
- Not use the service to store, transmit, or process illegal content
Shopify Store Access
ShopMCP accesses your Shopify store using tokens you provide during setup. You are responsible for ensuring these tokens are valid and for revoking access if you no longer wish to use the service. We act on your explicit instructions only and do not make unsolicited changes to your store.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, expressed or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific result will be achieved. You use the service at your own risk.
Theme and store changes
Changes made to your Shopify store through ShopMCP are applied immediately and directly. We strongly recommend duplicating your live theme before editing. We are not liable for unintended changes, data loss, or store downtime resulting from operations carried out through the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShopMCP and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Subscriptions and Billing
Subscription fees are charged through the Shopify App Store. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law.
Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. The current version will always be available at this URL. By continuing to use the service after changes are published, you agree to the revised terms.
Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia and the European Union. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Estonia.
